- 1 lb. Ground Beef
- 1/2 Cup Celery, Chopped
- 1/2 Cup Onion, Chopped
- 1/4 Cup Green Peppers, Chopped
- 1 Tbsp. Oil
- 1/2 Tsp. Salt
- 1 Can (10.75 oz.) Tomato Soup
- 1/2 Cup Milk
- 1 1/2 Cup Prepared Biscuit Mix
- 3 Slices Cheddar Cheese, Halved
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 450.
- In over proof skillet (10" - 11") brown beef with onion, celery, and peppers; cook until tender.
- Stir in salt and tomato soup.
- In separate bowl, combine biscuit mix and milk until dough is well-formed.
- Roll or pat dough into a circle slightly smaller than the skillet.
- Level meat mixture in skillet.
- Place dough circle in skillet over mixture.
- Bake for 15 minutes.
- Remove skillet from oven and turn upside down on a platter.
- Top with cheese slices and allow to melt; serve.
